A selection of brand marks designed for companies, government systems and campus events across Batam and Sumatra.

Context

Alongside digital products, many clients came first for a brand mark: property developers, a concrete joint operation, an investment company, a government supply chain system, a vocational school system and a polytechnic industry festival.

The challenge

Each mark had to work at very different sizes, from an app icon or favicon to a signboard, and many had to sit next to government or campus logos without looking out of place.

How it came together.

Started from what the organisation does
SIRAPI uses a check and rising swoosh for a system that verifies supply chain partners. Bumi Sumatera Sinergi uses layered bands that suggest earth and movement.

Kept forms simple enough to shrink
Madana Land and LAKU Properti rely on a single bold letterform, so they hold up as a social avatar or on a site board.

Designed for both backgrounds
Marks were prepared in colour and reversed versions so they work on websites, print and dark stage screens.
