Context
Valeo is a car rental business in Batam offering self-drive rental, rental with driver, airport transfer, monthly rental and Batam tour packages. Its fleet runs from city cars such as the Brio, through seven-seat MPVs like the Avanza, Xpander and Innova, to premium SUVs such as the Fortuner. The business delivers cars to the airport, ferry terminals, hotels and private addresses, with listed service areas in Batam Center, Nagoya, Hang Nadim airport and Batu Ampar. Bookings are handled over WhatsApp.
The challenge
Renting a car in Batam is a price-led decision, and visitors arriving by plane or ferry want to know the daily rate and the car before they commit. When booking happens only in chat, customers ask the same questions about price, seats, transmission and delivery every time, and staff answer them one by one. The site needed to answer those questions up front while keeping booking in WhatsApp, the channel the business already runs on. It also had to serve English-speaking visitors as well as Indonesian ones.

How it came together.

Put the starting price in the hero
The headline, a "from" daily rate badge and two buttons, Browse the Fleet and Chat on WhatsApp, fill the first screen. Price is the first question renters ask, so the page answers it before anything else.

Built the fleet catalog as priced cards
Each car card shows its category (MPV, City Car, SUV, Premium), seat count, transmission and starting daily rate, with View Details and Book via WhatsApp buttons. Visitors can shortlist a car without sending a message first.

Kept WhatsApp as the booking channel
Instead of a booking engine, every car card, the closing section and a floating button open a WhatsApp chat. This matches how the business already takes orders and avoids asking customers to install or register for anything.

Separated the five rental services
Self-drive, with driver, airport transfer, monthly rental and tour packages each have a card with a short line and a Learn more link, and appear again in the navigation and footer. Each type of customer can find their option by name.
